What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help detect and prevent spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar (your profile image) service if you use it. The privacy policy page can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile photo will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the website can download the images from the website and view the location data.
Cookies
When you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies are valid for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will store a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

How long do we keep your data?
When you post a comment on Bestbud.nl, that comment and the metadata of that comment are stored forever. This way we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of having to moderate them. Or help you if you have questions about your order.
For users who have registered on our website (if applicable), we also store personal information in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Website administrators can delete this information upon request.
When you place an order, we receive your address information so that we can ship the order. Once we have completed the order, the data will be kept for a maximum of 2 weeks for any complaint handling.

When you place an order on Bestbud.nl or create an account. We then send this data to our database via a secure server. No one else has access to this except us at Bestbud.nl.
